Millfield School Roll of Honour for the war of 1939-
List of Rectors since 1304
This survey was scanned by David Parsons from a report made by the Mid-
Holy Trinity Church
The church is thought to have been built on the site of St Gilda's Chapel In the early 14th Century. It contains two Early English windows, a fine Decorated east window, piscina and sedilia In the chancel, and an open 15th century timber roof. The west tower contains a clock and six bells.
The church was extended and restored by the Victorians in 1843.
The Registers date from 1639 and are deposited at the County Record Office, Taunton.
Churchyard
The majority of the headstones are of little artistic Importance but a few are of
Interest historically : A3 Is a well preserved example from the late 17th century;
B35 has an unusual double date of 1728-
