Prayer requests

Feraj Hanna - speaker at our Lent Course, from the Middle East

Faraj has asked us as a church to particularly pray for him and his family at this time.

He is in the final weeks of completing his MA in Hearing Studies at Bristol University, sponsored by CMS andf due to return to Jordan to his teaching post at the Holy Land Institute for the Deaf at the end of August.

Specifically, could we pray for the following:
  • for the successful completion of the last two chapters of his dissertation.
  • for his professor not to 'change the goalposts' which he is apt to do. It is vital that Faraj finishes by the end of August: already this is a month later than originally planned.
  • today (July 27) he flies to Inverness and then on to Aberdeen and Edinburgh to visit schools for the deaf for his research. He has already visited some 10 schools in England and Wales.
  • please pray for his family - Raja his wife, and their children, Fadi aged 7 and Lydia aged 4. They are staying with Raja's parents in upper Egypt. The children, Lydia in particular, find it hard to understand the sudden separation from their father, albeit they will be reunited when they return to Jordan. Lydia is not eating normally.
Thank you for your praying, if you are able to.
